About TUDOR Watches
TUDOR, a brand where traditions meet luxury and sporty innovations, recaptures the watch enthusiast’s world time and time again. Crafted with passion and precision, each timepiece boasts its distinctive character, harking back to its rich heritage.
TUDOR over the previous decades, revolutionized their identity, becoming the horological luxury powerhouse it is today. Each timepiece from TUDOR embodies substance and sophistication, with almost one hundred years of experience crafting these works of art.
TUDOR History
TUDOR was founded in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf, the same man who founded Rolex in 1906. Wilsdorf's vision for TUDOR was to create timepieces with Rolex’s famous quality and dependability, yet affordable to the masses. Since 1926, TUDOR has crafted watches alongside Rolex.
Although the brand was founded in 1926, it wasn’t until the 1940s that the TUDOR Rose started to appear on their dials. During the 1950s, TUDOR produced Submariners in conjunction with Rolex. These TUDOR Submariners were also refined over the years up until 1999.
During the height of racing, TUDOR produced chronographs, competing with other major brands in the 1970s. TUDOR was also chosen by militaries all over the world to be utilized by their forces; even today, the French Navy has partnered with TUDOR. TUDOR’s rich history has been the precursor to their unwavering success in the luxury timepiece industry.
Then, in 2012, TUDOR released the Black Bay Heritage. However, TUDOR was known for making the Submariners up to 1999. This Black Bay was and still is the iconic flagship timepiece of the modern TUDOR.
Just as Rolex has the iconic Mercedes hands, TUDOR proudly embraces the Snowflake hands that we have come to love. Since 2012, TUDOR has truly curated, crafted, and executed amazing collections of timepieces for any collector and stayed true to their principles of quality, dependability, and affordability.
TUDOR Collections

TUDOR Black Bay 41mm (Ref. M7941A1A0NU-0001)
This Black Bay is master chronometer certified and has a classic monochromatic black and silver aesthetic. Its 41mm case is brushed with beautifully polished chamfering. It comes on a 21mm riveted bracelet that is brushed with a fold-over clasp. It is 13.6mm thick with a domed sapphire crystal and 200mm of water resistance. It is powered by the in-house MT5602-U self-winding movement that has a 70-hour power reserve.
TUDOR Black Bay GMT (Ref. M79830rb-0001)
An evolution of the original Black Bay model, the Black Bay GMT comes in a 41mm steel case that is 14.6mm thick and has a 22mm lug width. Water resistant to 200 meters, the Black Bay GMT is a well-equipped travel companion, especially with the COSC certified caliber MT 5652, which is a traveler’s GMT. This movement allows for independent setting of the main hour hand, keeping the 24-hour hand in place, making it ideal for travels across time zones. The user would keep the 24-hour hand at their preferred reference time (likely their home), and the 12-hour hand would be set to the local time. The bi-directional rotating bezel can be used to track an additional time zone as well, in addition to other functions that a rotating bezel can be used for. The Black Bay GMT is also available with a white dial, and a two-tone steel and gold variant. There’s also leather and NATO strap options for each variation.
TUDOR Black Bay 58 (Ref. M79030n-0001)

The Black Bay 58 line has been expanded to include other dial and case variations, as well as a GMT model. There are also a number of strap options available for each model.
TUDOR 1926 41mm Opaline and Blue Dial (Ref. M91650-0010)

Its black dial is complemented with Arabic numerals at the 12, 9, 6, and 3 o’clock positions and posts for the other hour markers. The iconic arrow-shaped hands add to the rugged field aesthetic and history of this timepiece. It is powered by the COSC MT5402 caliber with a power reserve of 70 hours and water resistance of 100m.
TUDOR Movements
Since the founding of TUDOR in 1926, they have utilized a variety of movements in their timepieces. Today TUDOR uses mechanical self-winding or manual-wind movements in their collections. Early in TUDOR’s life, they used ETA movements, but with much pride, TUDOR now produces in-house movements with unparalleled precision and dependability.
TUDOR Watch Colors
You will find a plethora of color options when perusing TUDOR’s collections. The primary colors you will find among TUDOR’s timepieces are blacks, blues, whites, reds, and silvers. But, you will occasionally find other colors like golds and pinks in their chronograph collections or greens in their Black Bays.
TUDOR takes pride in adding to its colors. Some models have a satin finish, while others have a stunning sunburst finish. We can also appreciate that any text on the dial matches the minute markers and overall styling of the individual models. There is a color option for all enthusiasts to express their individuality and tastes.

TUDOR Partnerships & Brand Ambassadors
TUDOR is proud to work with several high-end partners and have well-known brand ambassadors. One Ambassador who has worked with TUDOR for many years is David Beckham. This world-famous football star proudly wears his TUDORs daily. He has been spotted out in the world wearing his Black Bay, his Pelagos, and Chronographs.
David Beckham remains an impactful symbol of TUDOR as the brand has become the official Timekeeper of the Inter Miami CF soccer team (Which Beckham is a co-owner). In tandem with the team’s pink colored jerseys, TUDOR was proud to release its limited-edition Black Bay Chrono “Pink”. The iconic color pink not only reflects South Florida’s vibrant soul, but also captures the TUDOR “Born To Dare” spirit.
Tudor’s partnership with the Visa Cash App RB formula team was a natural fit and pays tribute to TUDOR’s long and rich history in motorsports. TUDOR returns to the racetrack in the unveiling of the new team and racecar, marking the occasion with the launch of a special edition Master Chronometer Black Bay Ceramic. This team-exclusive timepiece version is complete with a blue dial that matches the team’s brand new TUDORized uniform. TUDOR’s partnership list continues with ambassador, Morgan Bourc’his, who wears his Pelagos while exploring the icy waters high in the Alps with almost no visible light. In his adventures, he goes free diving unassisted by equipment, except for his Pelagos, which he trusts with his life. He has a true passion for freediving and pushes his TUDOR timepiece to the extremes without failure, which is truly a trusting relationship between a man and his watch.
Few brands can boast a rich naval history like TUDOR has. TUDOR has once again partnered with the French Navy for a true diver’s tool watch. In 1956 G.E.R.S in France received TUDOR Oyster Prince Submariners and utilized them until they placed an order for a divers watch with 200m of water resistance. Today TUDOR and the French Navy proudly place the name Marine National on the case back the Pelagos FXD.
