Caliber JCFM04 marries master-level watchmaking with the iconic music from The Godfather. The hand-wound and in-house movement rotates while playing the movie's main theme, thanks to two sets of combs and blades that produce the notes of the 30-second melody, resonating clearly beyond the case.
The movement's triple-axis flying tourbillon is an exceptionally rare feature, further distinguished by its rotation with the rest of the movement when the melody is triggered. This combination of intricate mechanisms is entirely unique.
Despite the significant energy demands of the music box and rotating movement, the Opera Godfather offers an impressive 50-hour power reserve. It is hand-wound using a crank at 3 o'clock, designed by Jacob & Co. to resemble a violin with a folding and spinning neck. The caseband features a pusher at 10 o'clock, adding to its unique design, while the time-setting crown is located on the caseback, a common feature in Jacob & Co.'s complex watches.
