Buy Breguet Stainless Steel Watches at Exquisite Timepieces
If you appreciate fine timepieces, you’re probably familiar with Breguet.
Founded in Paris in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, no watchmaker in the world enjoys greater prestige, respect, or recognition. Breguet invented the wristwatch, the self-winding automatic movement, the tourbillon, and many other features now common to high-end watches.
For true connoisseurs, the name “Breguet” is a synonym for sophistication, invention, and horological mastery.
Breguet chooses stainless steel for many of its timepieces, as it’s naturally resistant to corrosion, scratching, and damage - making it ideal for daily wear.
Exquisite Timepieces is proud to be an Authorized Breguet Dealer, and our collection of stainless steel Breguet watches is extensive, as is our experience with this brand. And whether you decide to explore our online shop or visit our boutique in Naples, Florida, we would love to help you find the right stainless Breguet for your wrist.
We offer free shipping on all orders over $1,000, as well as complimentary insurance for your watch while in transit to you.
And our commitment to our customers extends beyond the sale: our experts are always available for routine service and emergency repair.
Why are Breguet Stainless Steel Watches so Popular?
Stainless steel watches are popular for a variety of reasons, including durability, price, and aesthetics.
A stainless steel Breguet offers daily luxury that can’t be matched by timepieces made from less durable materials. Gold of any kind is much easier to scratch or damage, and a watch made from less wearable metal will show its age much more quickly.
That has two effects: it can decrease resale value more or less immediately, and it can detract from the luxurious appeal of your watch by marrying its aesthetic perfection.
And of course metals like gold or platinum are innately expensive, increasing the price of a watch tremendously. Stainless steel itself is inexpensive, helping to keep the price of a stainless Breguet within reach.
Finally, the cold shine and clear reflections offered by stainless steel are simply beautiful.
Breguet’s collection of stainless steel watches offer stunning luxury that’s always in style, easy to wear, and a snap to dress up or down as the occasion requires.
Most Iconic Breguet Stainless Steel Watches
As you can imagine, Breguet watches are always in demand.
Ranging from the sporty to the elegant, Breguet’s line of stainless steel watches is as iconic as you are. And whether you wear the pilot-inspired Flyback Chronograph or the elegant Marine, you’ll have a timepiece that anyone would love to own on your wrist.
Breguet Type XXII Flyback Chronograph (ref. 3880ST/H2/3XV)
The Breguet Type XXII Flyback Chronograph represents a step forward in horology, offering a revolutionary 10Hz movement that vibrates at 72,000 beats per hour, compared to the standard of roughly 4Hz movements currently in use in Swiss watches.
You can see the movement through a cut out on the back of the case, an open heart on the reverse, as it were.
That incredibly fast movement allows this watch to keep amazing time while also displaying the date, a second time zone, and a 60-minute chronograph on a dial that’s simultaneously nostalgic and modern. Red details add extra pop and draw the eye to the
The 44mm case is luxuriously chunky and beautifully decorated, including a fluted crown and red details on the lower pusher.
Breguet Marine Stainless Steel (ref. 5857ST/12/SZ0)
If your tastes run to the elegant rather than the sporty, Breguet’s Marine in stainless steel might get your pulse beating faster.
The case measures 42mm in diameter, retaining the aesthetic appeal of the Classique collection with stunning details like fluting and the best-looking crown guard on any watch at any price. The 18K white gold dial displays the distinctive wave pattern adorning all of Breguet’s Marine models. It is complemented by Roman numerals, luminous diamond-shaped hour markers, two subdials, and, of course, Breguet hands.
The GMT subdial wears Roman numerals, cleverly placing the six at the 6 of the dial generally, and you’ll find a discreet date window just above it.
The overall effect of the dial is sophisticated, and this Breguet’s head-turning elegance is irresistible paired as it is with a stainless bracelet.
Powered by the Cal. 517F, offering 72 hours of power reserve, the longer you look at the Marine GMT, the more detail comes into focus.
Breguet Type XXI Transatlantique (ref. 3817ST/X2/3ZU)
Breguet’s Transatlantique offers rugged good looks that depart from the Classique series.
The dial, case, and brown leather strap would be at home on an elevated field watch, and in some sense, that’s precisely what the Transatlantique is: a timepiece that draws its inspiration from the tools of 20th-century aviation.
The dial is a subdued, almost military, matte gray that highlights the Arabic numbers and cream-colored luminescent paint on the hour and minute hands. At-a-glance legibility has never been better, as befitting a navigation aid.
Three subdials adorn the dial: a running seconds complication, the chronograph hour indicator, and a synchronized 24-hour complication. A date window is located just above the 6 o’clock position.
The 42mm case wears a bi-directional bezel decorated with fluting around its sides. Inside, you’ll find the remarkable caliber 584Q/2, beating away at a steady 4Hz (28,800bph).
Breguet Reine de Naples (ref. 8967ST/G1/986)
Breguet’s Reine de Naples has historical ties to Napoleon Bonaparte's sister Caroline, whose patronage and interest in timepieces led to Abraham-Louis Breguet receiving a commission for the first of this series.
This Reine de Naples is a direct descendant of that watch and an enduring symbol of feminine refinement.
The case measures 35mm by 43mm, and its ovoid shape complements the lines of the wrist perfectly. The simple, polished case holds a striking mother-of-pearl dial decorated with stylized pink Roman numerals at the 12 and 6. The hours are marked by polished indexes that subtly catch the light without detracting from the rich colors of the dial itself.
The hour and minute hands are blue steel Breguets with luminous inserts at their tips.
And of course this watch is paired with a beautiful fuschia leather band to match the colors of the details on the dial.
Breguet Type XX Flyback Chronograph (ref. 2067ST/92/SW0)
Few watches are as iconic as Breguet’s Type XX Flyback Chronograph. While other watchmakers capture a certain sense of nostalgia with their pilot watches, the Breguet’s Type 20 was a response to France’s call for a watch with which to arm its pilots.
The Type XX - not to be confused with the Type 20 - is the civilian version of this watch, updated with new technology - and a date window - not present in the original.
The 42mm stainless steel case wears a rotating, bi-directional bezel and contains a movement supporting a flyback chronograph. Two simple pushers bookend the crown.
The dial is a deep, matte black and marked with tan illuminated Arabic numerals. The hands are similarly illuminated, making legibility excellent, especially in low light.
Three subdials - a running seconds complication, the chronograph hour indicator, and a synchronized 24-hour complication - take center stage, but a discreet date window between the 4 and 5 is there as well.
Breguet’s Caliber 728, a new movement, drives this watch’s functions.
