The Best Friends Edition features a jet black dial. Against this backdrop, the photorealistic, almost three-dimensional moon orbits around the earth in the upper half of the dial, while the lower half features an impressively beautiful depiction of our planet Earth. The double-digit numerals from 01 to 12 are arranged in a circle around the dial and the date display is located at 3 o’clock. The moon, the hour markers, the hour numerals, and the needle-shaped hand glow strongly in the dark.
The stainless steel case is 43 mm in diameter, water-resistant up to 5 bar, and fitted with a domed sapphire glass over the dial. The world-famous logo of MeisterSinger’s collaboration partner, the panda with the WWF lettering, adorns the glass exhibition back.
The MS Luna automatic movement ticks inside the Edition Best Friends and is fitted with the moon phase module developed by MeisterSinger. The movement is based on the Swiss Sellita SW220, which is specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches. The moon phase display is exceptionally precise and only needs a slight adjustment every 122 years. The date display can be conveniently set via its quick-switch function. The rotor provides the watch with a power reserve of 38 hours.
With the Best Friends Edition watch, MeisterSinger is implementing its second project in close collaboration with the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), one of the world’s leading nature conservation organizations. The timepiece is based on the highly popular Stratoscope model, which features a large, central, extremely precise moon phase display. The Stratoscope Best Friends has been manufactured in a limited edition of only 250 pieces and is an incomparable reminder of how precious and incredibly beautiful our home planet is. A vegan strap made of apple fiber and a sustainably produced watch case complete the overall concept. For every watch sold, MeisterSinger and its retailers will each donate half of a total of 250 euros as direct support for the WWF.
