The Pangaea Day Date shows the time, the date, and the weekday at a glance – even though it only has a single hour hand. The date and weekday rings rotate openly and carefully balanced in the center of the dial. Each day at midnight they move one step further and group themselves to form the current date below the 12. The Pangaea Day Date has won several coveted awards for this unusual way of indicating the time and for its carefully coordinated typography.
It has received the Red Dot Design Award, the GOOD Design Award, and the German Design Award. Its stainless steel case is 40 millimeters in diameter, water-resistant up to 5 bar, and the dial is covered by a domed sapphire glass. The Swiss automatic movement that powers the Pangaea Day Date can be viewed through the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back.
