The case of the Grand Seiko STGK006 is 18K rose gold. There are 42 diamonds in each bezel and 12 diamonds in the mother-of-pearl dial. The crown contains one bigger diamond as well. The Grand Seiko STGK006 has a fine, high-quality dual-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and has a comparatively small pull out screw crown. The Grand Seiko STGK006 is automatic, meaning it is powered by the movement of the wearer. A complicated and responsive balance between high efficiency and slimming is created by this new Grand Seiko 9S27 automatic caliber. Its performance is excellent, with a precision rate of +8 to −3 seconds per day, and it boasts a 50 hour power reserve. The eight-beat, only 19.4 mm in diameter and 4.49 mm in height, delivers this high standard of efficiency, ensuring a stylishly slim profile.
Every mechanism is designed, assembled, and adjusted by hand in the Shizukuishi Watch Studio in northern Japan and made possible by the same high degree of manufacturing craftsmanship as any other Grand Seiko mechanical watch.
