The Grand Seiko STGK002 is a limited watch designed for women. The watch is elegant, sophisticated, and easy to use. It is likewise both simple and luxurious.
Appearance
The Grand Seiko STGK002 case is made of 18k gold and has 37 diamonds embedded into it. The case is made slim and sturdy for good performance and stunning looks. This watch has a diameter of 19.4mm, a height of 4.49mm, and a thickness of 10.80mm.
The diamonds have been placed strategically to allow the watch's beauty to shine through. The bezel of the watch has 60 diamond-cut facets along with the 37 diamonds that decorate its edge. There is also a large diamond placed on top of the crown. Eleven diamonds mark the hours on the watch, and the dial is reminiscent of the snow on Mount Iwate at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio, where every Grand Seiko watch is assembled. The watch features a white textured surface strap with grosgrain patterns. Underneath the white band lies the finest crocodile leather strap.
Movement
The Grand Seiko STGK002 has a power reserve of 50 hours, and the caliber is designed to offer accuracy of +8 to -3 seconds per day. Through the use of advanced technology, the caliber 9S25 offers a balance of size and functionality. It includes a Spron 610 alloy for the spring balance, which is extremely efficient against magnetic fields. MEMS engineering is used for the pallet fork, escapement wheel, and other components of the watch.
By redesigning the gear train layout and the teeth profiles, the Grand Seiko STGK002 provides maximum energy efficiency. The escapement wheel has been designed in the shape of a flower with five petals. To ensure quality, the 9S25 movement is tested for 17 days prior to release.
Magnetic and Water Resistance
