SBGC253: Spring Drive Chronograph Inspired by Grand Seiko's Lion Emblem

In 2019, Grand Seiko introduced a limited edition sports watch inspired by its iconic lion emblem, symbolizing its 60-year pursuit of precision, durability, and beauty. The lion design returns in the Sport Collection with a new dial as a regular production model with SBGC253.

Crafted from High-Intensity Titanium, which is 30% lighter and brighter than stainless steel, the watch boasts a stunning blend of Zaratsu polishing and hairline finishing. Its curved lugs and low center of gravity, along with the lightweight titanium, ensure a comfortable fit.

The dial showcases a "lion's mane" pattern, evoking the beauty and power of the lion. Its ivory-white texture reflects light from every angle, giving it a warm and impactful look.

Powered by Caliber 9R86, a Spring Drive chronograph GMT, SBGC253 boasts an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month and can measure elapsed time up to 12 hours. With a 72-hour power reserve and fully wound, it's displayed on the indicator next to the eight o'clock marker.
