Grand Seiko SBGE255 Watch Review

The Case

Grand Seiko did not go for the archetypal dauphine duo for the minute and hour hands; instead, they used a square, block-like hour and minute hands. The SBGE255 minute and hour hands were created with faceted baton and wedge indices, allowing for each component of the dial to coexist and harmonize.
The Movement
Considering the Spring Drive movement and caliber 9R66 power source, the 14.7mm thick case is quite appropriate. The Spring Drive movement is famous for performing brilliantly. The wearer can adjust the GMT hand according to local time without disturbing the movement.
The Bracelet
The bracelet is made of stainless steel, which takes the weight of the watch to only 172g. The bracelet is Tri-linked, connected to both ends of the case, along with a push-button three fold clasp.
