Glashütte Original 1-39-11-06-80-33 SeaQ Black Dial
Safe diving experience
As a genuine diver’s watch, this mechanical timepiece is fitted with a unidirectional, counterclockwise rotating bezel with a noticeable click for setting the dive time. The black ceramic inlay provides a scratch-resistant surface for the bezel. Thanks to the distinct half-minute detent, the triangle mark coated with Super-LumiNova® and the screw-down crown, the SeaQ offers a safe diving experience.
Superb legibility
The black dial is elaborately crafted by hand and is very easy to read even under the most difficult lighting conditions. The printed Arabic numerals and indexes are generously coated with Super-LumiNova® in the historic “Old Radium” hue, as are the hour, minute and second hands. Their luminous blue guarantees optimal legibility – through the antireflective sapphire crystal – even in cloudy waters.
Sporty stainless steel
The stainless steel case of this diver’s watch is 39.5 mm in diameter and features a refined vertically-brushed finish. It is available in two versions: with a sapphire crystal case back or with an engraved stainless steel case back that is centrally screwed. The engraving on it consists of the trident maritime symbol, the Glashütte Original Double-G logo, and 20 waves representing the watch’s water resistance of 20 bar. This sporty timekeeper comes with a choice of a synthetic fabric or rubber strap, or a stainless steel bracelet with fine adjustment mechanism.
The Glashütte diver’s watch
The model for this watch was the “Spezimatic Typ RP RS 200” from 1969, which was specially developed for sports divers. With the SeaQ, Glashütte Original brings its diver’s watch tradition back to life by taking up the design of the historic predecessor and combining it with a high-quality mechanism, advanced materials and stable construction. This model is powered by the manufacture Calibre 39-11 and tested to ensure it meets the relevant DIN and ISO standards.
