Movement
C.6005
The new manufacture movement from Chronoswiss, marks a significant advancement in the brand's engineering excellence. First introduced in the Delphis line 2023 (C.6004), this movement is distinguished by its ruthenium plating, a tungsten rotor and a Côtes de Genève finishing radiating from the center & echoing the brand's signature ray Guilloché. Developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret, featuring 55 hours of Power reserve this complex movement is to be found in the next generation timepieces of Chronoswiss.
Materials
Titanium
Chronoswiss increasingly favors titanium for its lightness. It has the best strength-to-weight ratio among metals, making it highly sought after in aerospace. Additionally, titanium is corrosion-resistant and skin-friendly. For its creations, Chronoswiss exclusively selects the toughest available titanium alloy, Grade 5.
Artisian handcraft
Hand Guilloché
Guilloché is a traditional technique, which engraves detailed, interwoven lines on surfaces, creating unique light patterns. Chronoswiss excels in this art, producing dials with precise, radiating designs using two main guilloché machines: the straight-line and rose engine. Despite the absence of manuals for over two centuries, Master-Guillocheurs have maintained their expertise through a deep understanding of these machines. Creating one of those complex dials takes several hours. Today, Chronoswiss's guilloché dials stand as both a tribute to and a celebration of this enduring craft, showcasing its timeless appeal with a modern twist.
Coating
Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD)
Chronoswiss harnesses the versatility of CVD coatings to infuse watch cases and dials with vibrant hues like blue, purple, and color-shifting tones. This complex gas-phase process enables precise, uniform coatings even on complex surfaces, optimizing for durability, resistance, and aesthetic appeal.
Our vision
The inspiration for the new ReSec Green Monster Manufacture was sparked by the daring race cars of the 1960s at Bonneville. A quartet card featuring the "Green Monster" with 17,000 horsepower ignited the bold creation from our designer, now encapsulated in a 42mm case crafted from premium titanium. The dial of the ReSec Manufacture has been redesigned for enhanced symmetry and transparency, showcasing the beauty of our latest in-house movement and the meticulously hand-guillochéd dial. The ReSec Manufacture is a next-generation timepiece that stands as a testament to innovation and craftsmanship.
