During a visit to Flensburg, Alexander Shorokhov was inspired by an unforgettable evening that began with a relaxed stroll along the quay, where the idyllic and tranquil atmosphere left a lasting impression. The stroll found its perfect conclusion in a cozy local fish restaurant, whose culinary delicacies rounded off the charm of the evening. This special experience gave rise to the visionary idea of designing a dial with a fascinating underwater world.
The resulting model «Flensi», lovingly named after its place of origin, impresses with a dial that presents a sea of colors and three-dimensional depth. The background of the dial is designed in four different mother-of-pearl colors: from light mother-of-pearl on the top to a deep, dark mother-of-pearl on the bottom, which artfully imitates the depth of the water.
The dial shows an impressive composition of different colored fish and sea elements as appliqués in 3D effect, creating a lively underwater scene. This unique design captures the beauty and diversity of the underwater world and masterfully expresses Alexander Shorokhov's vision.
Avant-garde style
The fish are made in an avant-garde style with a special color scheme that underlines their lively presence. Each fish has a friendly, contented face - just like Mr. Shorokhov's mood on that unforgettable evening. At 8 o'clock you will discover a bottle that has floated to the shores of Flensburg with a message from afar - you just have to find it. At 1 o'clock there is an old anchor that is said to be hidden somewhere on the seabed of Flensburg.
The limited edition of the watch is seamlessly integrated into the design and can be found among the fish, which further reinforces the exclusivity of the model. Overall, the dial of the model creates a friendly aura and a relaxed mood that is perfectly reflected when wearing the watch.
The hands are strikingly black with orange luminous material, which perfectly matches the color of the hour applications at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock and makes it easier to read the time. The 45 mm case has two crowns: one at 2 o'clock for the rotating inner bezel and one at 4 o'clock for setting the time. Both crowns have clear markings to prevent confusion. In addition, the crowns are equipped with double seals to ensure optimal protection against water pressure.
A particularly high-quality process was developed to design the bezel in a different color. The bezel is made of robust titanium and was refined using a special anodizing process to apply the color. This creates a harmonious connection between the dial and the bracelet.
From the Depths of the Sea
The case back presents an artistic design and shows a beautiful image from the depths of the sea - a charming pair of turtles in 3D. Under the base is a reliable and robust Swiss ETA 2824 movement or an equivalent Sellita SW-200 movement, which is equipped with a hand-engraved and refined rotor. A high-quality rubber strap with an elegant folding clasp made of solid stainless steel was developed for comfortable wearing and worry-free handling of water. On the top of the strap there is the brand's avant-garde AS sign on one side and the slogan "Art on the Wrist" on the other.
The extraordinary model comes in a special watch box. The interior has a wave-shaped fabric cover in a lighter bluish shade. Through the "peephole" with a steel frame in the upper part of the box you can admire the watch even when it is closed.
The brand has managed to create another exclusive work of art. To further increase the value of the watch, it is produced in a limited edition of only 60 pieces.
